Promotional ideas can do three things: sell, un-sell or do nothing at all. Unfortunately, they all cost money. So how does one ensure your advertising is an investment and not an expense? Be outstanding, be relevant and be exciting. Boring communications are like boring people. You avoid them. When were you last bored into buying something? First, gain their attention. Once you have that they have to be convinced their life is incomplete without your product. You can’t do nothing and expect to gain something. Remember, cows don’t give milk. You have to take it from them.
